I love this place! The owners are the coolest, the coffee is magnificent, and it's a great community hub for the local music scene(s). Rhythms does so much to support artists by hosting awesome shows featuring music of all types!

Rhythms is my safe space. Kim (the owner) is the nicest person ever and always make you feel warm and loved. She remembers your name and order with ease. The feel is always soft and comfortable nomatter how long I stay through the day. 20/10 experience every time!

I went to the Rythms Cafe in downtown Olympia to watch a group of upcoming hip-hop artist perform in a talent contest/showcase. There was no cover charge. The establishment was clean and had an orua of peace and calm..Quite a few people attended the event. The show started on time and the artist were mingling with the audience while each other did there presentation and clever actingade this show entertaining and enjoyable. Halfway through the event the performers turned their attention to turn up the audience. Their playful and dynamic personalities convinced the onlookers to participate in the song and dance of their choice. They we clapping and doing the playback for the performers in on the chorus, repeating the word commands according to the singer. It was a great time and some excellent local talent showed up to take the crown. This was clean, easy fun for all! I forgot to mention that I indulged drinking a moca expresso coffee drink that was absolutely amazing!

What a pretty and fun place! Loved all the posters and colors. It was also very clean. It wasn't busy while we were there, around 2 pm on a Thursday. We got fast and friendly service. I got a Valentine special, some sort of hibiscus tea, oh my lord! Oh my goodness! It was absolutely heavenly. My kiddo got a chai tea, and she was in love as well! I will definitely going back. I can't wait to try the matcha! I am concerned however reading through the reviews, the owner responded in a snarky manner. Which is their right to do! Just gives me the ick. 🤷 (Oh also, just cuz someone might read this far. Free, free, Palestine! 🇵🇸)

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious coffee. We enjoyed a hot mocha and latte, both exceptionally delicious. Would highly recommend! Looking forward to going back soon!

Awesome little joint. Fantastic bevvies and snacks. The owners are really cool. The vibe is on fire. Live music on a regular basis. I drove down from Puyallup to see a friend play and loved it so much I might come back next week.

My wife and I cannot explain how amazing Rhythms Coffee Shop is. Besides the coffee and teas being absolutely delicious, the entire vibe and atmosphere of this place is BEYOND what you could think. The owners are the sweetest coolest couple we’ve met downtown! Now, the live music and open mics at this place are unmatched! The sound is great thank you to David, one of the owners! This is hands down our favorite place for a morning coffee, an afternoon or late night show and open mics every Monday!!! It’s the coolest spot to hang out and I highly recommend everyone go for the vibe but also catch a live show there, it’s magical! 🤘🫶🥰

Absolutely loved this place! The chai latte was amazing — perfectly spiced and comforting. I also tried the Good Morning Vietnamese and it’s an absolute must-try! The vibe here is so cozy and inviting, and the barista (possibly the owner) was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Hot lattes being 10oz was the BEST surprise. It’s the perfect ratio, and while I have a barista at home who shorts 12oz ones for me, this is the first place I’ve found that has it on the menu like that. It shows so much effort and love for the art of coffee to go off the beaten path of typical sizes and stick with the one that gives that perfect, strong but smooth latte. The woman who helped me (possibly the owner) was also so kind and friendly, and the latte was steamed perfectly with 10/10 espresso. Also had a great conversation with some other custies about my Converse. Great location right along the port. If I’m ever back in Olympia, I’ll definitely be coming back.
